"We don’t understand that life is heaven, for we have only to understand that and it will at once be fulfilled in all its beauty, we shall embrace each other and weep."

"To hold our tongues when everyone is gossiping, to smile without hostility at people and institutions, to compensate for the shortage of love in the world with more love in small, private matters; to be more faithful in our work, to show greater patience, to forgo the cheap revenge obtainable from mockery and criticism: all these are things we can do."

"My body is not a moral failing, a sign of my lack of willpower, or a measure of my health or worthiness. The only thing you can tell from my size is what size I am and what prejudices you hold about people my size. My body is amazing and I will stand up for it, take care of it, and be undeterred and unashamed of properly caring for it, especially because of societal bigotry perpetuated by people who make their money and/or their self-esteem by trying to rid the Earth of people who look like me."

"No one in my family, not one of my friends or classmates realized that I was going through life asleep.
It was literally true: I was going through life asleep. My body had no more feeling than a drowned corpse. My very existence, my life in the world, seemed like a hallucination. A strong wind would make me think my body was about to be blown to the end of the earth, to some land I had never seen or heard of, where my mind and body would separate forever. ‘Hold tight,’ I would tell myself, but there was nothing for me to hold on to."

"I remember one morning getting up at dawn, there was such a sense of possibility. You know, that feeling? And I remember thinking to myself: So, this is the beginning of happiness. This is where it starts. And of course there will always be more. It never occurred to me it wasn’t the beginning. It was happiness. It was the moment. Right then."

I was lost, I was lost
Crossed lines I shouldn’t have crossed
I was lost, oh yeah

Yeah how long must you wait for it?
Yeah how long must you pay for it?
Yeah how long must you wait for it?
Oh for it

 2. When did your last hug take place?

Yesterday evening :)

8. Do you cry easily?

Yes, although more often when I’m happy/moved/tired/mad than when I’m sad.

20. Do you secretly like someone?

No, all my last crushes ended abruptly when I found out they were either taken or much younger than me. Some even both.

28. Are you a forgiving person?

It’s hard for me to choose between forgiveness and justice, even when it comes to my friends, but well, at the end of the day I’m a forgiving person.

36. Who was the last person you took a picture of?

My mom and our dog (trying out my new phone).

46. How many kids do you want to have?

For the longest time I didn’t want to have kids at all, now I think I’d like one or two. If just one then I’d prefer a son (although it doesn’t really matter in the end).
